Tyrail W. Hughes, “Rail”, of 239 St. Matthew Street, Petersburg, Va. departed this life on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at the Southside Regional Medical Center, Petersburg, Va.
He was born on January 27, 1992 in Petersburg, Va.
Tyrail was a graduate of the Petersburg High School Class of 2010 and was a member of the Trinity Missionary Baptist Church of God In Christ. He loved fishing, had the personality of a comedian and was a fan of the Pittsburg, Steelers. Tyrail desired to be a rapper and was making plans to go to barber school.
Tyrail was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary Hughes, William Hughes and George Skelton, Sr.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Ms. Pamela Hughes (Percy Skelton); his father, Mr. Tyrone Berry (Beverly); a devoted fiancé, Regia LaCree Harris; son, Darius Mason; brother, Tyrone Hughes (KeyKey); sister, Jessica Hughes (Moe Salem); grandmothers, Ms. Queen Skelton (devoted) and Josephine Berry; uncles, George Skelton, Patrick Branch, Antonio Branch (Janice), David Branch (Sara), Thomas Dempsey, Mark Dempsey(Rose), Eddie Berry (Sonya), Edward Berry, Jr. (Nicole) and Billy Mason (Christine); aunts, Constantine Foreman, Teresa Lloyd, Annie Mae Berry, Ann Killingbeck (Boris), Virginia Berry, Denise Mason (Tyrone) and devoted aunt Robin Skelton (Felix Henderson), godmother, Norma Pegram; nieces, Khamay Lynn Pegram and Daeshawndra Johnson; many cousins, among them a devoted cousin, Mrs. Katrina Morgan and family, and many friends, among them Damon Wright(devoted), Nedra Sellers and the Berry family.
Funeral services for Tyrail W. Hughes will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at 2:00pm from the Trinity Missionary Baptist Church of God In Christ, 233 Halifax Street, Petersburg, Va. with Pastor Jeffrey L. Dodson, Sr., officiating and Pastor Robert Allen, Grace and Truth Fellowship, Newport News, Va., eulogizing. Interment will be in the Dinwiddie Memorial Park Cemetery, Petersburg, Va.
Public viewing will be held on Sunday, April 22, 2012 from 6:30pm – 8:00pm and on Monday, April 23, 2012 from 10:00am to 8:00pm at the J.L. Dodson & Sons Funeral Establishment.
