Mr. Wayne Osborn Childress 44, of Chester Virginia passed  away at St. Francis Medical Center Midlothian, Virginia. He was born in Petersburg Virginia to the late Claiborne Childress and Geraldine Childress. Wayne was a graduate of Colonial Heights High School and was  a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Colonial Heights Virginia.

He is survived by one son, Joshua Childress of Colonial Heights VA.; three sisters, Patsy Lee of Hopewell VA.; June Childress of Chester Va.; and Kathy Daymude of Williams Port PA.; one brother, David Moore of Manassas Va.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Memorial service for Wayne Childress will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church 3110 Greenwood Ave. Colonial Heights Va., Rev Curtis Barnes Pastor and Rev. Joe Mayes Eulogizing Officiating . The family is asking that relatives and friends assemble at 1:45p.m. day of service at the church .
