Our precious baby, King Edward Harvey, was born on November 7, 2015 in Petersburg, Virginia to Dayvon and Tiffany Harvey.
King lit up any room he was in and penetrated the hearts of many. He laughed and finally mastered walking. He played with his big sister second mommy and number one fan, Kali, and of course ate and ate and ate some more – his favorite pastime.
We are left to cherish the memories and the joy he brought to our hearts. Rest my precious baby until we meet again. We love you and will miss you dearly.
King was preceded in death by his great grandpa, Edward Williams, Jr. and aunt, Angel Felicia Lyublanovits.
In addition to his parents, King leaves to cherish his memory, his big sister, Kali; paternal grandparents, Johnny Gee and Amy Harvey; maternal grandparents, John Mason, Jr. and Stephanie Mason, paternal great grandmother, Cheryl Johnson; maternal great grandparents, Mary Rivers of Colorado, John H. Mason, Sr. and Maxine Mason of Waverly, Va.; god parents, Unique Lucas of Richmond, Va. and T.J. Macklin of Petersburg, Va.; aunts, Kolondus Ragas of Colorado, Charmaine Harvey of King William, Va., Breonna Berkeley of King and Queen, Va. and Candice Montgomery; devoted great aunt, Samantha Harvey of Richmond, Va.; and uncles, Reginald Perdue of Colorado, Brent Berkeley and Travis Harvey of King and Queen, Va., David Lyublanovits, Darius Mason, Adonijah Mason, Carl Harvey and Prentis Harvey.
A funeral service for King Edward Harvey will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at the Lily of the Valley Deliverance Center, 411 Oak Street, Waverly, Va. 23890 with Bishop Marvin Drew, Pastor, Officiating. The interment will follow in the Waverly Cemetery, Waverly Virginia.
The family is receiving relatives and friends at the residence 314 Kent Ave. Colonial Heights, Virginia and assembling at 9:30 a.m. the day of service.
