Otis A. Crittendon of 24089 Mt. Pleasant Street, North Dinwiddie, Virginia entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at the Petersburg Health Care Center.
Otis was born on October 2, 1961 to Alexander and Diane Crittendon. He was the third of eight children.
At an early age, Otis confessed Christ and joined the Big Bethel Baptist Church in McKenney, Virginia and later joined the Tabernacle Baptist Church, Petersburg, Virginia.
Otis was educated in the Dinwiddie County Public School system.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alexander Crittendon; a brother, James Crittendon; grandparents, Lillian M. Fields, Roy Crittendon and Ann Crittendon.
Otis leaves to cherish his memory, his devoted mother, Diane C. Brown; stepfather, Robert Lee Brown; four brothers, Walter, Thomas, Don and Rickey Crittendon; two sisters, Garlinda (devoted) and Gloria Ann Crittendon; three aunts, Emma Watkins, Bernice Flowers and Marie Crittendon; one uncle, Don Crittendon; nieces ,Bonita Green, Vick Green, Whitney, Courtney, Jessica, Calandra, Greshaunda, Rickela, Alexia, Olivia Crittendon and Ashley; nephews, Thomas Davis, Derrick and Terrance Crittendon, a host of friends, Tanya Lewis, Vanessa and Michael.
Family and friends may visit at the home of his mother and stepfather at 24089 Mt. Pleasant Street North Dinwiddie, Va. 23803.
Viewing for Mr. Otis Crittendon will be on Monday, May 29, 2017 from noon to 8pm.
Funeral services for Mr. Crittendon will be on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at 1:00pm at the Tabernacle Baptist Church, 418 Halifax Street, Petersburg, Virginia with Pastor Robert A. Diggs, Officiating. Family and friends are asked to assemble at 24089 Mt. Pleasant Street, North Dinwiddie, Va. at 11:45am on the day of the service.
