Mr. Cecil C. Parrish was born on July 5, 1952 in Brunswick, Virginia.

Cecil leaves to cherish his memory a loving mother, Mrs. Laura Walker and step-father, Mr. Charles Paul Walker; brothers, Anthony Parrish (Alvera) of Petersburg, Virginia, Paul Wayne Walker and Curtis Walker (Vanessa) of Maryland.

Cecil’s memory will be cherished by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Cecil lived at Southside Virginia Training Center for 35 years and then moved to Hiram W. Davis Medical Center the later part of his life. Cecil now has his “permanent keys” to his eternal home.

Funeral services for Mr. Cecil C. Parrish will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 1:00pm at the Chapel of the J.L. Dodson and Sons Funeral Establishment with Bishop Tyrone Harper, Officiating. Interment will follow at Hiram W. Davis Medical Center Cemetery.

Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 12:45pm on the day of the service.
