Ms. Sandra L. Anderson “Sand” of 4505 Boones Trail Place Chesterfield, Virginia entered into God’s Kingdom on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at CJW Medical Center Richmond, Va.

She was born on August 12, 1947 in Washington D.C. to the late Ruby and Joe Ware. Sandra was educated in the Greensville Public School system in Greensville, South Carolina. She was a member of Royal Baptist Church Petersburg, Virginia.

She loved to cook and talk on the phone. Sandra loved her family. She remembered everyone’s birthday and wedding anniversary. Sandra also loved her church. She was a member of Royal Baptist Church, Petersburg, Virginia.

Sandra was preceded in death by her sisters, Bette Cole and Joe Ann Wallace; a brother, Jerome Ware; and a niece, Wakina Griffin.

“Sand” leaves to cherish her memories a son, Arthur Ware; a granddaughter, Kesha Flowers; two brothers-in-law, James Cole and Johnny Wallace; nieces, Jacquline Miller (James), Candy Williams, and Tammy Holloway; nephews, Rev. Dr. Ronnie Martin (Tammy), Dwight Hudgen (Mary), Rev. Kelly Martin (Niaretta);caregivers, Niarette Martin and Kelita; devoted cousins of Greensville, S. C., Linda Drummond, Ola Mae Young, Hattie Bell Young, Buster Young and Loretta Young; and a host of other relatives, cousins and friends

Celebration of Life services for Sandra L. Anderson will be held at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Royal Baptist Church, 316 St. Mark Street, Petersburg, Virginia 23803 with Rev. Dr. Phillip Williams, Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in the Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg, Virginia. Remains will rest at the church one hour prior to service. The family is asking that relatives and friends assemble at 10:45 a.m. on the day of service, at the residence of her nephew Rev. Dr. Ronnie Martin, 4309 Chesdin Boulevard, Sutherland, Virginia.

A public viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00p.m. at the J. L. Dodson and Sons Funeral Establishment.
