On August, 28, 2018 Kelvin Woodson was called home to be with the lord.

Kelvin was born on January 12, 1969 to Rebecca Louise Brown and was the youngest of two boys.

Kelvin was good at home improvement but roofing was his passion. He worked as a Roofer for over 20 years.

Kelvin was a very loving caring, kind, non- judgmental person who would help anyone no matter what. He was young in age but he had an old soul. Kelvin would speak his mind and didn't care if you liked it or not. He was a lot like his mother but we loved him anyway.

Kelvin loved working in his garden with his grandkids. He would get just as excited as they would when the cucumbers, tomatoes, and onions would start to grow. Kelvin loved to walk and explore new things. He loved to go on walks with the kids to the store and the playground. Just a few months ago the grandkids moved in. He took Kingston for walks in his stroller. The grandkids loved him and he shared his life stories with them. Kelvin also liked to relax and read books.

Left to cherish memories of Kelvin are his wife, Lenita; children, Sherlita, Chatease, and Angela; seven grandkids, Demarco, Kashawn, Aniya, Naadirah, Cammille, Kingston, and Johnetta; mother, Rebecca Brown; brothers, Gerald , Ron, and Ty; uncle, Ralfa; great-grandkids, Jaharah, and Zaharah; and a host of other family members, friends and coworkers that will miss him very much.

Viewing for Mr. Kelvin Woodson will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 from 2:00pm to 8:00pm. at the J.L. Dodson and Sons Funeral Establishment.

Funeral service for Mr. Woodson will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at 1:00pm from the chapel of the J.L. Dodson and Sons Funeral Establishment with Pastor Bowman, Officiating. Burial will be private. Family and Friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home at 12:45pm on the day of the service.
