Arthur Lewis Ware, “Puddin”, of Petersburg, Virginia was born on October 27, 1968 in Greenville, South Carolina to the late Arthur Kennedy and the late Sandra Anderson.

Puddin was educated in the Petersburg Public School System and was employed at Amazon in Chesterfield, Va. He enjoyed football. His favorite team was the Miami Dolphins.

Arthur was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Tessemae Kennedy and Ruby Ware; aunts, Bette Cole and Joe Ann Wallace; uncle, Jerome Ware; and first cousin, Wakina Griffin.

Arthur leaves to cherish his memories a daughter, Kesha Flowers; two uncles, James Cole and Johnny Wallace; first cousins, Jacquline Miller (James), Candy Reid (James), Tammy Holloway, Rev. Dr. Ronnie Martin (Tammy), Dwight Hudgen (Mary), Rev. Kelly Martin (Niarretta); devoted cousins of Greenville, South Carolina, Linda Drummond, Ola Mae Young, Hattie Young, Buster Young and Loretta Young; and a host of other relatives, cousins and friends, including Polly Flowers, Lisa Friend, and Darlene Lowder.

A public viewing will be held on Friday, June 19, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00p.m. at the J. L. Dodson and Sons Funeral Establishment.

A graveside celebration of life service for Arthur L. Ware will be held 1:00P.M. Saturday, June 20, 2020 at Blandford Cemetery, 319 South Crater Rd. Petersburg, Virginia 23803, Rev. Kelly Martin, officiating.   The family is asking that relatives and friends assemble at the residence of Arthur’s cousin, Rev. Dr. Ronnie Martin, 4309 Chesdin Blvd., Sutherland, Virginia at 11:45 a.m. on the day of the service.
