Eddie Dean Ferrell, 60, of Blairs, VA passed away on October 8, 2020 in Roanoke, VA.

Eddie was born in Keeling, VA to Yvonne Plunkett and William Lee Ferrell on March 7, 1960.  He went to school at Dan River High School. Eddie was married to Marilyn Adams on May 18, 1983 in Keeling, VA. He worked as a CDL Driver for over 15 years.  He was also an ordained minister. 

Eddie Dean Ferrell was preceded in death by his parents, Yvonne Plunkett and William Lee Ferrell; Annie Ferrell Deshazor, William Jr Ferrell, and Billy Lee Ferrell.

Eddie is survived by his wife, Marilyn Ferrell; children, Tiffany, Shameka, Shemaiah, Tiesha, Jamonica, Edward, Jaleel, and Darius Ferrell; siblings, Lisa, Ronald, Donald, and Willie Ferrell; and grandchildren, Tnya Ferrell, Tenisha Ferrell, Elijah Ferrell, Jacob Ferrell, Emerson Hearne, and Mason Hearne; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Viewing for Eddie Ferrell will be on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 from 1:00pm – 8:00pm at the J.L. Dodson and Sons Funeral Establishment.

Funeral service for Mr. Ferrell will be held at 4:00 pm on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at the J.L Dodson and Sons Funeral Establishment.
