Linda Diane Malone Jackson, age 60, transitioned from Grace to Glory on Thursday, June 3, 2021. She was born on May 20, 1961 to the late Gladys Ethelee Malone Jones.

Linda was educated in the Petersburg Public School System. At an early age, she professed her faith in Jesus Christ and loved to praise the Lord and spread the word of God.

Linda was blessed and loved by many. She was always the "life of the party" and loved to dance. Linda dressed to impress and always kept a smile on her face. She was one of the most caring, compassionate and loving people you could ever meet. If you ever met Linda, you will never forget her bubbly and generous spirit and pleasant personality; these things about her will be missed the most.

Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Gladys Malone Jones; husband, Bernard Jackson; daughter, Eqonise Malone; brother, Marvino Malone; and very special friend, Mrs. Kay Francis Battle.

Most importantly, Linda loved her family. She is survived by two daughters, Shameeka Malone of Prince George,Va and Kallitha Malone of Petersburg,VA; a loving companion, Tony Griffin of Petersburg, VA; two brothers, Dennis Malone (Tiffany)of Chester, VA and  Anthony "Man Man" Malone of Petersburg, VA; two sisters, Annette Malone(John) of Petersburg, VA, and  Consuella Jones of Chester, VA; five beautiful grandchildren, DeShaun Malone, A'Shya Malone, Daevion Malone, Demonya Malone, and Eqonise Malone, all of Prince George, VA;one devoted uncle, James Malone(Wilma); a devoted cousin, JoAnn Tucker; nine nieces, Patrice Taylor, Nicole Isler(Vic), Quiana Malone, Adaijah Jones, Ebone Malone, Taquisha Allen, Amber Brown, Nylah Malone and Foleysha Malone; three nephews, Daevon Malone, Keyan Malone and Anthony Malone;loyal friend, Mabel Smith; very special friend, Mrs.Geraldine Johnson ; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and many dear friends whom she also loved. 

Also, a special dedication to the Kelley, Cox, Williams, Hinton and Talley Families. With a special thank you to Mrs.Melinda Kelley Gillard (Nathan).

Public viewing for Mrs. Linda D. Malone Jackson will be on Thursday, June 10, 2021 from 4:00P.M. – 8:00P.M  at the J.L. Dodson and Sons Funeral Establishment. – Petersburg, Va.

 Celebration of life service for Mrs. Linda D. Malone Jackson will be held on Friday, June 11, 2021 at 11:00A.M.at the Trinity Missionary Baptist Church of God In Christ, 233 Halifax Street Petersburg, Va., 23803. Rev. Jeffrey L. Dodson, Sr., Pastor.  Rev. Marcella Jones, Pastor of Christ Tabernacle Wilson Virginia.

Interment services will follow at the Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg, Va. 23803.

Family and friends are asked to assemble at her daughter residence Killitha Malone 223 Witten Street Petersburg, Virginia on the day of the service at 9:45am.

Following the celebration service, dinner will be at the Eastside Community Enhancement Center, 7301B Boydton Plank Road North Dinwiddie, Va 23803.
