Ms. Angela "Teresa" Moore Reid( February 7, 1971 - August 14, 2022 ) “Ms. Angie” Angela Theresa (Teresa) Moore On August 14, 2022, at her residence, our beloved Fiancé, Mother, Godmother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Niece, Cousin, Friend, and Co-worker, Ms. Angela Theresa (Teresa) Moore-Reid transitioned to eternal life to be with the Lord and Savior at the gracious age of 51 years of life, in the hands of her family. She was loved so dearly by many and was well known as “Ms. Angie” – especially by her VSU family. Teresa was the true definition of a “Diamond” - something so precious and of value from the lord. She was born on February 7, 1971, to Alice G. Moore of Prince George, VA and the late James O. Moore II. From the age of five, she was blessed with caring, nurturing and spiritually guided godparents, Virginia and James Graham of South Chesterfield, VA. Teresa attended school in Matoaca and grew up in Ettrick, VA (Hickory Hill). Spiritually guided by her Godparents, she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior uniting in membership with God’s Mission of Faith. She was an active member of the church and the Anointed Choir. “Ms. Angie” was an employee of Thompson Hospitality for eleven years. The faculty and staff of Virginia State University admired her hard work and dedication. She provided the best customer service and was appreciated mostly for her loyalty. “Ms. Angie” was very outgoing and full of life on campus. She was the motherly person to the students and co-workers and didn’t take any mess from anyone. In honor of her continuous and loyal service, in 2019, she was nominated by the students and presented with an award. Teresa was one of a kind and had a smile that would brighten anyone’s day. She had a calling while here on earth to spread love and encouraging words. Teresa loved her handsome fiancé Markco. She also loved 3TLM whole heartedly and raised them into beautiful ladies. Teresa enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved to cook and play cards with her loved ones whenever she wasn’t working. Her motherly touch, compassion, and charming ways were cherished the most. Although she isn’t here physically, we are grateful her soul is present with the Lord and Savior Christ.
