Mr. Dexter L. Logan

( July 12, 1957 - February 21, 2023 )

A Time To Be Born:

Dexter Elton Logan was born July 12, 1957, to the late Elton White and the late Queen Logan James. He was married to Mrs.Donzella Doss Logan for 17 years.

A Time Of Rest:

Dexter Logan was called home to his eternal life on February 21, 2023 at 8:50am at UVA Hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia.

A Time To Plant:

Dexter worked for many years as a Plumber Apprentice with Edward Thorton Company under the leadership of Mr. Ronnie Echols. However if you knew Dexter “Hat”, then you must know that he is a Jack Of Many Trades, such as being a mechanic, remodeling houses, yard work, and the list just goes on. Dexter was a fun spirited person full of laughter. If you knew him you know that he never met a stranger. He enjoyed fishing, playing spades, pitching horse shoes, and pitching corn holes. He was also our life of the party guy, always the 1st to be on the dance floor at the family cook-outs.

A Time To Mourn:

He leaves to cherish his loving memories his wife, Mrs. Donzella Doss Logan of the residence; his children, Jamie Townes, Timothy Townes, Justin Wilson, Monica Wilson, LaToya Wilson, Lindberg Wilson, Michelle Doss, Melissa Doss, and Cynthia Petty; five sisters, Evangelist Brenda Terry, Mary Garland, Brendella Logan, Faye Colley, and Maye Logan; his care taker, Tamera Witcher and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

He was pre-deceased by 3 siblings, Delois Morrison, Henry Logan, and Curtis Logan.
