Mr. Donald Ray Adams of 378 Juless St. Danville Virginia entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Sovah Health Danville, Virginia.

Donald was born on July 17, 1970 to Mr. Joseph Evans Sr., and the late Virginia Adams Evans.

He was employed at Aero Farms as a sanitary worker.  Donald loved a good card game but mostly enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.  He will be greatly missed.

He leaves to cherish his memories his father, Joseph Evans, Sr.; a daughter, Shauniece Scott of Roanoke, Virginia; a son, Marteno Holmes of Wallens Ridge, Virginia; two sisters, Tonya Howard of Yanceyville, N C.; and Quaneshia Adams of Norfolk, Virginia; four brothers, Joseph Evans, Jr. of Pound, Virginia, Benjamin Florence of Danville, Virginia, George Tucker of Greensboro, North Carolina and Benjamin Tucker of Oakwood, Virginia; six grandchildren, one great grandchild; his girlfriend, La Tonya Lipscomb and children; special friends, Eric and Keith McMoore and a host of relatives and friends.

Celebration of Life Services for Mr. Donald Ray Adams will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2023, 1:00 P.M. at J. L. Dodson and Sons Funeral Establishment, 447 Old South Main Street  Danville, Virginia. Elder Davetta Rena Kernodle, Rising Sun Missionary Baptist Church, Officiating. 

A public viewing will be held Tuesday, May 30, 2023 from 5 pm – 7 pm, at J. L. Dodson and Sons Funeral Establishment, 447 Old South Main Street, Danville, Virginia 24541.

The family is receiving relatives and friends at the residence of his cousin, Jackie Fitzgerald 687 Berman Avenue Danville, Virginia. The family is asked to assemble at J. L. Dodson and Sons Funeral Establishment at 12:45 on the day of the service.
