Ms. Daletra Shane Stephens entered into eternal rest at her residence on Sunday, October 22, 2023.

Daletra was born on March 21, 1985 to Valerie Prince and Tyrone Smith.   

She leaves to cherish her memory, her father, Tyrone Smith (Sara); her mother, Valerie Prince (Anthony); her daughter, Zahyir Stephens and a close step-daughter Taniyah Rodgers; six brothers, Jerma Smith, Tyrone Russell(Tabitha), Tyshawn Russell (Lashae), Tyionne Russell (Ceandra), Daquarius Smith and  Lakeem Luck; three sisters, Tychelle Russell, Tynisha Russell and Jameshia Smith,  a host of other relatives and friends.

Celebration of Life services for Ms. Daletra Shane Stephens will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, October 27, 2023 at J. L. Dodson Funeral Establishment, 447 Old South Main Street, Danville, Virginia.  Rev. Adolophus Adams, Officiating.

A public viewing will be held one hour prior to the service.

The family is asked to assemble at 5:45 p.m. at the Funeral Establishment on the day of the service.
