Mr. Andrew George Collier, Jr.,

( July 7, 1976 - January 13, 2026 )

Andrew (Andy) George Collier Jr, 49 of Dinwiddie, Virginia, passed away in early January 2026, after a period of declining health. Born on July 7, 1976 in Richmond, Virginia, he was the son of Shirley Collier (Lloyd) and the late Andrew Collier Sr.

Andrew was preceded in death by his father, Andrew Collier Sr; his wife Karen Collier; and his loyal companions, Bruiser and Gabby.

He is survived by his mother, Shirley Collier; sister, Sandra Collier Taylor; his children, Brittney Plummer (Christopher Smith) and Michael Plummer Jr., (Michaela Ambrosie).  He was the proud Pop-Pop to Callie and Aurora Smith.

Andrew’s memory will also live on through his godchildren—Eli Nielsen, Miah Stevens, Amandalynn Mullins, Cody Mullins, Jackson Taylor, and Chase Howerton—as well as a close circle of friends who were more like family, including Diana “Deedee” Meunier, Stacy Stevens, and Gary Hamlett.

A 1995 graduate of Meadowbrook High School, Andy worked for many years as an electrician, carrying on his father’s legacy. He later found success and fulfillment on the road as a truck driver after obtaining his CDL.

On April 20, 2013 Andy Married Karen Collier (Walker) and embraced her children as his own. They shared ten beautiful years of marriage until her passing in January 2023.

Outside of his professional life, Andy was a man of many passions. He found great joy in the outdoors- whether he was fishing or camping under the open sky. A true enthusiast of mini trucks and car shows, he loved the craftsmanship and camaraderie of the community found at every event. Most of all, Andy cherished the time he spent with friends and family. He was often the life of the party, known for his love of a good time and his ability to bring people together. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A memorial service to celebrate Andy’s life will be held at Bellwood Baptist Church (North Chesterfield VA). The family will announce the date and time in the coming days.
