Mr. Robin Jeffrey Edmonds

( May 11, 1954 - March 23, 2026 )

Robin Jeffrey Edmonds was born in Hopewell, Virginia, to the late Herman T. Edmonds Sr. and Nettie Threatt Edmonds on May 11, 1954. He peacefully passed away on March 23, 2026. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, June, Vera, Herman Jr., James "Jimmy" and Gene Edmonds.

Robin was a loving person who enjoyed meeting new people and, above all else, driving his Volkswagen. He loved to dance, took pride in dressing well, and enjoyed a good game of spades. Known for his warm spirit and sense of humor, Robin truly cherished laughter and good company. He was always willing to help his fellow tenants at Sycamore Towers in Petersburg, Virginia whether it was to set up their new TV and internet connection or transport them to jobs, grocery stores or doctor appointments. He gladly offered his assistance to anyone in need and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Robin leaves behind his daughter, Tishana “Tasha” Edmonds Schultz; grandchildren, Lukis Schultz, Taj Schultz, Tiyana “Ty” Schultz Meza (Isrrael); great grandchild, Gabriel Alexander Jay Meza, siblings, Barbara Sykes (James deceased), Brenda Collins (Clifton), Bonita Hatfield and sister-in-law, Wanda Edmonds (Gene deceased). Also, left to mourn his passing, is the patriarch of the Edmonds family, his uncle, Campbell Ray Edmonds; along with a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family wishes to thank all who communicated with Robin during his illness, whether you dropped by for a visit, called him with words of encouragement or offered up prayers.  His memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

We would also like to extend a special thank you to the kind and committed staff at Bon Secours Southside Hospital who cared for our loved one during his illness.

For those unable to attend in person, the service will be live-streamed, allowing family and friends near and far to come together in prayer, reflection and remembrance. Please click here at time of service to join in the live stream.
