Jasmin Danielle Medley, 26, of 341 Moses Mill Rd Chatham Va, went home to glory on September 14, 2020. She was the daughter of Tosha Medley and Minister Jerry Caldwell Jr.,
Jasmin grew up in Danville, Virginia and attended Dan River High School where she graduated in 2011. She was a member of Bibleway Cathedral where she was baptized and accepted Christ at an early age. Jasmin enjoyed living life and loved family, especially hanging with her brothers and sisters. She was beautiful, very sweet and kindhearted.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Irene James.
In addition to her parents, Jasmin leaves to cherish her life, one son, Antwon Lee Fitts; eight sisters, Regina Martin, Jaliyah Giggets, Jayonna Terry, Candy Cobbs, Delexus Cobbs, Naveah Medley, Serenity Denise Caldwell, Ivyelle Medley; two brothers, Jerry Caldwell III and Jason Caldwell; maternal grandfather, Bennie Medley; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and cousins.
God has not promised sun without rain and joy without sorrow, peace without pain. But God has promised strength for the day, rest from our labor, light for the way, grace for our trials, help from above, unfailing sympathy and undying love.
Drive in celebration of life service for Ms. Jasmin Medley will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at the Highland Memorial Park, 3049 North Main Street, Danville Va. 24540 with the Rev. Clarence Trent, Jr., Pastor of Change of Heart Ministry Danville, Virginia, officiating.
A public Viewing for Ms. Jasmin Medley will be on Monday, September 21, 2020 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the J.L Dodson and Sons Funeral Establishment.
The family is asking that relatives assemble at the residence of her aunt and uncle, Michelle Poteat (Earl), 103 Southland Dr., Danville, Virginia at 1:00 P.M. on the day of service.
Masks are required at all services. All attendees are also asked to follow social distancing guidelines.
