Maudell gave her life to the Lord Jesus Christ at an early age. Maudell was raised according to Proverbs 22:6 and served in a variety of ministerial capacities at the Glorious Church of God In Christ, under the leadership of Bishop Henry W. Sauls, Bishop S.C. Bass, and Bishop Perry Lindsay, Sr. Maudell served in the youth department (Y.P.U.W), worked with the women’s ministry (W.I.S.W), and sang with the Young Adult Choir. Maudell was a phenomenal choir director and loved to sing. In 1981, the Perry Lindsay Radio Choir, under the direction of Maudell Sauls, recorded an album titled, Glorious New Inspirations. Maudell was the soloist for the renowned song, written by Evangelist Tina Gates, “Oh That Men Would Praise The Lord”.
