Mr. Andrew Lewis Myers

Andrew Lewis Myers, 60, of Danville, Virginia was called home Thursday, August 3, 2023, at Sovah Health.

He was born in Virginia on June 4, 1959, to the late Clarence and Dorothy King Myers. He was preceded by one son, Andreaus Adkins; a one grandson, Demarius McLaughlin; one sister, Ruby Greene; two brothers, William Myers, Jr. and Benjamin Myers.

Andrew leaves to cherish his memories, two daughters, Charissa Adkins and Kianna Adkins both of Callands, Virginia; sixteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren; three sisters, Hilda Myers (Calvin), Mary Hodge and Janice Echols along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Celebration of Life services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at J. L. Dodson and Sons Funeral Establishment, 447 Old South Main Street, Danville, Virginia, Rev. McArthur Myers, Sr., Pastor of Macedonia Baptist Church, Eulogist. Rev. Larry Daye, Pastor, Officiating, of New Sandy Creek, Keeling, Virginia.

A public viewing will be held Wednesday, August  9, 2023 from 4pm – 6 pm, at J. L. Dodson and Sons Funeral Establishment, 447 Old South Main Street, Danville, Virginia 24541

The family is asked to assemble at J. L. Dodson and Sons Funeral Establishment at 12:45 p.m. on day of service.
