Mr. Claude J. Brandon

Claude Junious Brandon departed this life on May 23, 2021 at Sovah Health- Danville, VA. He was born November 28, 1941 in Milton, NC to the late (Pastor) Myrtle Lean Carter Womack and the late (Elder) Louis Richard Womack. Mr. Brandon was educated in the Pittsylvania County and City of Danville Public School Systems.

He worked as a chauffeur and was employed for a short time at Dan River Mills Inc., as well as Dibrell Bros. and Lorrilard and Southern Processors Tobacco Factories before embarking on a lifelong career as an over the road truck driver - a career that spanned over four decades.

He will be remembered for his quick wit, wild sense of humor, snappy one liners, and his smooooth charisma…. Not to mention his keen fashion sense. No matter where he was, he carried himself in a dignified manner.

He leaves to cherish his memories loving children, Claude Bethel of the home in Danville VA, Paula Cardwell of Yanceyville NC, Robin Adams, Perry R. Adams, Charlese Adams, Eugene Graham and Arnetta K. Rogers, all of New Jersey; Jacqueline D. Bethel of Danville, VA, Yvonne Luck and Tammy Pritchett, both of Greensboro, NC; and Marvin Jennings of Halifax VA; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Public viewing for Mr. Claude Junious Brandon will be held on Thursday, May 27, 2021 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the J.L. Dodson and Sons Funeral Establishment – Danville, Va.

Celebration of Life service for Mr. Claude Junious Brandon will be held on Friday, May 28, 2021 at 1:00pm at Evangelical Temple Of Christ Holiness Church 124 Simpson Brown Road Milton North Carolina with Elder Samuel Harris, Pastor, Eulogist and Pastor Julia M. Graves of New Vision Of Life CCC, Presiding. Interment to follow in the Church Cemetery.

The family is asked to assemble at the residence, 106 Oakvale Circle Danville Virginia at 11:45 a.m. on the day of the service.
