Mr. Mark Bailey

On Thursday, May 5, 2022, the Lord called our beloved son, father, uncle and friend into eternal rest, Mark Anthony Bailey.

Mark was born September 2, 1975 in Danville, Virginia to the late Grannell Bailey and Jacqueline McCain, who survives.

Mark was a graduate of George Washington High School in Danville, Virginia.

Mark leaves to cherish his precious memories: his mother, Jacqueline McCain of Danville, Virginia; a daughter, Shantae Jackson of Rustburg, Virginia; two sisters, Stacy Bailey of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Maria Coleman of Whitsett, North Carolina; five brothers, Bishop Douglas Harris (Apostle Kimberly), Leslie Bailey, Corey McCain, Curtis McCain, all of Danville, Virginia, and Casey Bailey of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.

Celebration of Life Services for Mr. Mark Anthony Bailey will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at the J. L. Dodson and Sons Funeral Establishment 447 Old South Main St. Danville, Virginia 24541. Pastor Jonathan King, Pleasant Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Officiating. Interment to follow in the Highland Burial Park 3049 North Main St. Danville, Virginia 24540.

A public viewing will be held on Tuesday ,May 10, 2022 from 4p.m. to 7:00p.m. at the J. L. Dodson and Sons Funeral Establishment Danville Virginia.

The family is asked to assemble at the residence, 1452 Myrtle Ave, Danville, Va. at 1:00 p.m. on day of service.
