 Alice Faye James Moore

Mrs. Alice Faye James  Moore was born March 15, 1944, in Pelham, NC. She answered

call of her Heavenly Father on July 4, 2022, at her home. She was one of 5 the children

born to the late Berkley James and Hester McCain; both of which preceded her in death.

She was a well-known figure in our community.  She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, and friend. 

 Her presence will be missed by many in the community.

 She was predeceased by two siblings John James, Pauline McCain Gunn. 

Left to mourn her departure, but rejoice in her life are sons, Everett Moore, and Derrick Moore (Jacqueline) both of Danville, VA. Two sisters, Juanita Florence of Danville, VA. and  Mamie Coleman of Burlington, NC. Four grandchildren and five great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many supportive friends.

Celebration of Life Services for Mrs. Alice Faye James Moore will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 15, 2022 at the J. L. Dodson and Sons Funeral Establishment - Danville, Virginia 24541, with , Rev. Jeffrey L. Dodson, Sr., Pastor, Officiating.

A public viewing will be held Thursday, July 14, 2022 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the J. L. Dodson and Sons Funeral Establishment- Danville VA.

The family is receiving relatives and friends is asked to assemble at 10:45 a.m. on day of service at the Funeral Establishment.
