Mrs. Linda Hardy

Mrs. Linda Dale Hardy of 197 Northwest Blvd, Danville, Virginia entered into eternal rest on Sunday, November 10, 2024 at Sovah Health, Danville, Virginia.

She was born February 13, 1949 to Marion Martel Lamkin, Jr. and Myrtle Gibson Lamkin.  She was married to Wayne Andrew Hardy, Sr. on March 11, 1971.  He preceded her in death.

Mrs. Hardy was a devout Christian who served her family and community with love and kindness.  She was a member of the former Evangel Assembly of God Church. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.  We take solace in knowing she is in the arms of Jesus.

Those left to cherish her memories are one son, Wayne Andrew Hardy, Jr.  (Kimberly  D. Hardy) of Danville, Virginia; four daughters, Pamela M. Grubbs, Penny Shephard, Stacy McDaniel (Kenneth) and Kimberly L. Hardy all of Danville, Virginia; one step-son, Vance Teasley of Wellston, Ohio; 19 Grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial service for Mrs. Hardy will be held, 2:00 p.m.,  Friday, November 15, 2024 at Ferry Road Friends Church, 741 Ferry Road, Danville, Virginia.
