Mrs. Virginia Mae Green

Ms. Virginia Mae Green, 98, of 601 Bridge #314, Danville, Virginia 24541, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at Riverside Health and Rehabilitation Center in Danville, Virginia.

She was born November 13, 1924 to the late Raymond Gordon Pritchett and Ethel Gardner Pritchett.  She was educated in Danville, Virginia and later moved to Washington, D.C., where she retired from Howard University at the age of 62 years of age as a Dietician.  After retirement, she lived her later years in Danville, Virginia.

She was a faithful member of her church, Christian Life Church, Danville, Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Gordon and Ethel Gardner Pritchett; two brother, Russell Pritchett and Burnell Pritchett.

She leaves to cherish her memory, nieces, nephews, a host of family and friends.

Celebration of Life services for Ms. Virginia Green will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Christian Life Baptist Church, 206 Bell Drive Danville, Virginia. Overseer Dominick Reynolds, Presiding, Pastor LaShawnda Reynolds, Eulogist. Interment will follow in the Highland Burial Park, 3049 North Main Street, Danville, Virginia 24540. 

A public viewing will be held one hour prior to service.

The family is asked to assemble at 12:45 p.m. on the day of the service at the church.
