Mrs. Winnie virginia Muldrow Gee
On Sunday June 26, 2022 Winnie Virginia Muldrow Gee received her passport and peacefully entered into her eternal home at the residence in Danville, Va.
She was born May 22, 1936 in Darlington S.C. to the late Reese Muldrow and the late Mary Ann McFarland.
Virginia worked in Dan River Mills, 3dress, until declining health in 1979. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was a member of Loyal Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Gee Sr., three sons, Jimmie Gee Jr., Rev. James Edward Gee and Raymond Gee; one daughter, Diane Gee Jones; her brother, Andrew Muldrow, her sister, Elizabeth Owens; and her son in law, David Lee Dodson.
Virginia leaves to cherish her memory, three daughters, Judy Dodson of the residence, Sharon Gee of Danville, Va., Jackie Glass (Junior) of Roanoke, Va., and one son, Daryl Gee Sr. of Danville, Va. Along with 18 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 18 great great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other friends and special thanks to Faye Miles, Cheyenne Carter, Lisa Winfield, Kimberly McArthur, Darrell Ferrell and Fabian Brandon.
Celebration of Life Services for Mrs. Winnie Virginia Muldrow Gee will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at J. L. Dodson and Sons Funeral Establishment Danville, Virginia 24541, Rev. Jeffrey L. Dodson, Sr., Pastor, Officiating. Interment to follow in the Highland Burial Park 3049 North Main St. Danville Virginia 24540.
A public viewing will be held Friday, July 1, 2022 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the J. L. Dodson and Sons funeral Establishment- Danville VA.
The family is receiving relatives and friends at the residence and asked to assemble at 1:00 p.m. on day of service.
