Ms. Teresa Ann Torain

In the early morning hours of August 13, 2021, God sent one of his angels to hand deliver the caring soul of Teresa Torain into His precious arms. Now she's free of all pain and sorrow. Teresa was born on August 20, 1968 in Danville Va. Her early years were spent in Keeling Va.

In her adult years, Teresa resided in Richmond Va. She had a smile so wide and a heart as large as the sea.

Teresa was preceded in death by her father, Mr. Phillip Waddell; and her godparents, Mr. Modale Saunders and Mrs. Elma Saunders.

Teresa leaves to mourn – her sons, Carlos Torain, of Danville Virginia and Marlo Torain of Greensboro, NC; one grandson, CJ Torain of Danville, Virginia; mother, Ms. Lelia Pritchette of Greensboro, NC; sisters, Yvonne Luck, Tammie Pritchette and Tameka Pritchette all of Greensboro, NC; two brothers, Shawn Pritchette of Greensboro, NC and Justin Robertson of Reidsville, Virginia; two god-sisters, Rita Saunders and Doris Cobbs of Danville, Virginia. A very special friend, Junior Eaddy of Richmond, Virginia; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

I am free, Praise the Lord, I’m free. No longer bound. No more chains holding me. My soul is resting and it’s just a blessing. Praise the Lord! Hallelujah, I’m free.”

Celebration of life service for Ms. Teresa Torain will be held at 4:00p.m. on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at the J.L. Dodson and Sons Funeral Establishment – Danville, VA with Pastor Corey Torain, Officiating.

Viewing for Ms. Teresa Torain will be on Sunday, August 22, 2021 from 3pm until the hour of service at the J.L. Dodson and Sons Funeral Establishment – Danville, VA.

Family and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home on the day of the service at 3:45p.m.
