Visandria Shorts departed this life unexpectedly on April 3, 2021.

She was born May 26, 2001 to Monique Shorts and the late Roy Lee Watson and was educated in the Danville Public School System.

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Monique Shorts; four brothers, Malachai Shorts of Danville, VA., Robert Robinson and Anthony Robinson of Charlotte, NC and Dennis Long of Yanceyville, NC; two sisters, Tina Watson of Yanceyville, NC and Valerie Watson of Danville, VA, maternal grandparents, Donna Shorts Robertson and Lorene Mays; paternal great grandmother, Christelle Hughes; a special aunt, Victoria Gunn; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A public viewing for Visandria Shorts will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the J.L. Dodson and Sons Funeral Establishment – Danville, Va.

Homegoing Celebration for Visandria Shorts will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2021, 3:00pm at the Highland Memorial Park, 3049 N. Main St. Danville, VA.

Family and friends are asked to assemble at the residence, 203 Broad St. Danville, Virginia on the day of the service at 2:00p.m.

Masks are required at all visitations and services and attendance may be limited. Attendees are asked to adhere to social distancing guidelines.
