Barbara St. Clair of North Dinwiddie, Virginia passed away at home on May 15, 2014.
Born July 4, 1945 in Lake George, NY to Barbara and Frederic Stranahan, she was predeceased by her husband, John F. Chandler; parents; step-father, John; siblings, Frederic and Marie; and nephews, Patrick and Tony.
Until her illness, she regularly attended Pine Knolls Alliance Church in South Glens Falls, NY. A social butterfly, Barbara enjoyed meeting and spending time with people. She was blessed with many talents and gifts. Well-known for her home cooking, she proudly displayed her skills at home, for church socials, and in her own restaurants. She dearly loved and was loved by her family and friends.
Barbara is survived by her children, Jacqueline St. John, John Chandler, Victoria Chandler, and James St. Clair; grandchildren, Louis, Nichole, Nickolas, Emma, and James; her siblings, William, Ruth, Richard, Bunny, David, John, Skip, and Chester; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Barbara St. Clair will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Pine Knolls Alliance Church in South Glens Falls, NY.
