David McKinley Clark, formerly of 518 Elm Street, Petersburg, Virginia departed this life at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, Norfolk, Virginia on April 24, 2015.
He was born on March 3, 1952 to the late Mary Jarrett Clark and George Clark.
David actively shared in membership with the Resurrection Life Christian Church Center family under the leadership of Pastor Gary D. and Pastor Alice B. Gray in Petersburg, Virginia.
He worked various carpentry positions, including at Virginia State University, Petersburg, Virginia. He had a passion for cooking, grilling and eating.
Though sadly missed by all those who had an opportunity to share in his life, we are thankful for the time we had with him and will treasure and cherish the many memories.
He is survived by a loving and devoted wife, Gail H. Clark; sisters, Elizabeth A. Walton (Sherman) of Portsmouth, Va., and Catherine Brown(David) of Norfolk, Va.; brothers, Barry Clark (Adrian) of Maryland and Thomas Mill Jarrett of Norfolk, Va.; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews, cousins and friends.
Celebration of life service for Mr. David M. Clark will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday May 2, 2015 at Resurrection Life Christian Center, 216 W. Washington, St. Petersburg, Va. with Pastor Gary D. Gray, officiating.
Family, relatives and friends will assemble at 11:45am on the day of service at the church.
