Obituary
Miss. Yasmine LaNea Stone, age 17, of 3070 Tom Fork Road, Ringgold, Virginia, departed this life on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at Sovah Hospital in Danville, Virginia.
She was born February 8, 2005 in Danville, Virginia and was the daughter of James Tyrone Stone and Joyce Denise Ferrell.
Yasmine attended George Washington High School. She was a vibrant young lady. Yasmine enjoyed skating, taking pictures and dancing off of Tik-Tok. She was a friend to everyone. Yasmine was a youth member of the Salvation Army.
Yasmine leaves to cherish her memories, her mother and father, Joyce Denise Ferrell and James Tyrone Stone; grandmother, Joyce Ferrell; four sisters, Icies, Alayah, Kalyah and India; three brothers, Lamar, Tyrone (T.J.) and Aidan; three aunts, Patricia (Miki) Poole, Linda Williamson and Cynthia Williamson, all of Danville, Va.; four nieces, two nephews and a host of cousins and friends.
A public viewing will be held on Friday, January 15, 2022 from 12pm to 7pm at the J. L. Dodson and Sons Funeral Establishment-Danville Virginia.
Celebration of life services for Miss Yasmine Stone will be held at 1:00p.m. Saturday, April 16, 2022 at Baptist Christian Fellowship Ministry 12 Hylton Ave. Danville, Va., with Rev. William Dixon, Sr., Pastor, Eulogist, Bishop Kell Stone, Officiating, Gospel Tabernacle Outreach Center Gretna ,Virginia. Interment to follow in the Highland Memorial Park 3049 North Main St. Danville Virginia
