Obituary
Charles “Foots” Crowder Sr., 75, of Dinwiddie, Virginia, passed away on October 29th, 2024.
Charles was born October 17th, 1949 in Matoaca, Virginia, the son of the late Bernard and Blanche Crowder.
He worked as a cement truck driver for Titan before he retired after over 25 years of employment.
Charles was a strong-willed man with an amazing laugh and sharp sense of humor. He especially enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with all of his friends and family. He was a member of Rainy Days Hunt Club and The Dinwiddie Moose Lodge.
Preceding Charles’ name in death are his brothers, Bernard “Chick” Crowder, Donald Crowder, and Billy Crowder.
Remaining to cherish Charles’ memory are his loving wife, Essie Crowder; children, Lisa Lopez (Valentine), Charles Crowder Jr. (Carmelita); grandchildren, Angel Pulver, Ashley Crowder, John Pulver, Salena Campos, Jose Campos (Cheyenne), Maleah Wegscheider (Bernie); great-grandchildren, Jasmine Taylor (Nick), Jordan Taylor, John Pulver Jr., Jaylah Street, Scott Johnson III, Adrian Campos, Maddie Pulver, Layla Campos; and his great great-grandchild, Cayden Hayes.
The family will not be having a public service/visitation, but appreciates all thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
