Obituary
Mr. Charles Edward Glass entered into eternal rest on June 1, 2023 at Sovah Health in Danville, Virginia.
He was born on June 3, 1968 to Charlie Glass who survives and the late Betty Jo Law Echols.
Charles loved working in his yard and spending time playing video games with his friends. He especially loved the time he spent with his children. He will be greatly missed.
Charles was predeceased by his mother, Betty Jo Law Echols.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his father, Charlie Glass of Danville, Virginia; three daughters, Saniyya Glass, Kanisha Glass and Teleshia Towler of Danville, Virginia; a son, Jayvion Reynolds of Danville, Virginia; two step – sons, Elijah Bridges and Jaden Anderson; two grandsons, Zackary Glass and Julian Jones, Jr. of Danville, Virginia; two sisters, Izeda Law and Lillie Perry of Danville, Virginia; three brothers, James Newby (Paulette) of Roanoke, Virginia, Roy Newby of Danville, Virginia and Tim Glass of Maryland; a devoted girlfriend, Janet Reynolds and a host of relatives and friends.
Celebration of Life Services for Mr. Charles Edward Glass will be held Saturday, June 10, 2023, 11:00 A.M. at J. L. Dodson and Sons Funeral Establishment, 447 Old South Main Street Danville, Virginia. Pastor Anthony Swann, Officiating.
A public viewing will be held Friday, June 9, 2023 from 5 pm – 7 pm, at J. L. Dodson and Sons Funeral Establishment, 447 Old South Main Street, Danville, Virginia 24541.
The family is receiving relatives and friends at the residence, 1530 Claiborne Street, Danville, Virginia. The family is asked to assemble at J. L. Dodson and Sons Funeral Establishment at 10:45 on the day of the service.
