Michael Warren Haley, Jr., affectionately known as Black, departed this life on Thursday, November 3, 2022 , at Duke University Hospital Durham, NC. surrounded by his family.
Michael was educated in the Danville Public School System.
He accepted Christ during the latter chapter of his life.
Michael followed in his fathers footsteps by choosing his career as a truck driver. Michael had a smile bright as the sun, lighting up everything around him.
When Michael wasn’t on the road, he loved spending time talking and laughing with his family and friends. Micheal enjoyed fishing and was anticipating fulfilling his dream of owning a boat.
In addition to his parents, Michael Haley, Sr. (Georgia) and Pattrice Bates, Michael leaves to cherish his children, Kashecia Moon, Fanteasha Haley, Michel Travis Haley, Dashon Haley, Dyantae Haley, Keileha Haley, Arshay Haley, Micheal Warren Halley, III, Mikesha Haley and Micheal Deshawn Haley; two grandchildren, D’Areon Moon –Martin and Khalani Gidderon, his sisters, Lynn, Temetrius, Tamara, Laverne, LaKisha, Sharon and Monica; one brother, Derrick White, his uncles, Anthony Mitchell and Madison Watson; his aunts, Debra, Michelle, Linda(Jessie)and Hope; a special friend, Renita Whitehead and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Celebration of Life Services for Mr. Michael Warren Haley, Jr. will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at the J. L. Dodson and Sons Funeral Establishment - Danville, Virginia 24541.
The family is receiving relatives and friends at his daughter residence Fanteasha Haley 232 Parkland Dr. Danville Virginia and asked to assemble at the funeral home at 12:45 p.m. on day of service.
