Norman Eugene Nicholas, “Norm”, of 25802 Greensville Avenue North Dinwiddie, VA departed this earthly life into eternal life with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday, April 19, 2025.

Norm was educated in the Dinwiddie County Public School System graduating in the Class of 1972 at Dinwiddie High School. Early in his career, Norm worked at Brenco for a number of years and later retired from Southside Virginia Training Center in 2014, after 26 years of service.

Norm’s favorite hobbies and pastimes were basketball, fishing and coin collecting. He also loved tinkering and working on his old cars and trucks.

Norman was preceded in death by his parents, Louella Gholson Nicholas and James T. Nicholas, Sr; two brothers, Eudell A Nicholas and James T Nicholas, Jr.; and his very dear devoted best friend forever, Ms. Diane Baskerville.

He is survived by three devoted and dedicated siblings; Albert M. Nicholas (Essie) and Arlene N. Williams, both of North Dinwiddie, VA and Alvin C. Nicholas, I(Velma) of Petersburg, VA; three nephews, Quint T. Nicholas (Penny), Alvin “Neil” C Nicholas, ll (Sheila) and James “Jamie” T.
