Mrs. Alma Jean Reed of 733 Garland Street, Danville, Virginia, entered eternal rest on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Sovah Hospital, Danville, Virginia.

She was born on October 9, 1963, to the late Reverend Roy W. Martin and Frankie Davis Martin. On July 16, 1980, she was united in holy matrimony to R.B. Reed, and together they shared many years of love and devotion.

She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband, R.B. Reed; one daughter, Christi Fulton; three sons, Jason Reed, Jeffrey Reed, and John Reed; one sister, Nadine Allen; one brother, Frankie L. Martin; 13 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
