Mrs. Linda Wedo

Obituary

"Another rose, Superstar, plucked by God"

On, February 8, 2023, Linda “Lynn,” Wedo departed this earthly home at John Randolph Hospital, Tri-City Medical Center, due to complications of pneumonia, as a result of earlier contracting Covid.

She was born November 11, 1940. A widow at an early age, from her husband, Kenneth Allen Wise, who served in the Air Forces.

“Lynn” served God through her life. A true lover of life, education, nature, and the arts.  She was briefly remarried.  She raised her children on her own and did an outstanding job, while working two or three jobs at a time.  She had several different occupations ranging from bartender, beautician, nurse and finally Real Estate Agent, where she found her niche.  She was a natural and did well for many years.  She loved the land, nature, and all animals and people.  She read many books in her later life.  Her thirst for knowledge was insatiable.  She was an artist and a published poet we could go on and on.

She will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure to know Linda “Lynn” Wedo. She is and was the kind of person you would want to know for your whole life and it will be difficult for us to let her go.  She will be loved Forever, Ever, and Ever and Ever and then some!

She leaves to cherish her memories, three children; Sherri Lynn, Michael K. Wise and Stephen Wise; grandchildren and also her friends children, whom she loved the same.

A personal thank you to Rev. Jeffrey L. Dodson for helping with the funeral arrangements for our love one at this difficult time.
