Obituary
Robbi Petree Daniels, 71, of Chester, Virginia, passed peacefully on July 7, 2026, after a short battle with kidney cancer.
Born Robbi Jane Petree on April 12, 1955, in Petersburg, Virginia, she was the youngest child of Indie Turner and Jack Petree. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers-in-law Jim Labbe, Rodney Daniels, and Jim Daniels; sister-in-law Teresa Daniels; and niece Indie Petree. She is survived by her daughter Demi Popinski, son-in-law Dominique, and granddaughter Aletta; her brothers JC (Judy) and Kenny (Jeanette) Petree; and her sister Carolyn Labbe. She is also survived by cherished nieces Emily (Chris) Taylor and Maggie (Alex) Stinauer; as well as many other nieces and nephews and the best of friends.
Robbi graduated from Thomas Dale High School in 1973 and spent the majority of her career working as a programmer at Fort Lee and later the Defense Supply Center. After retirement, she spent her time riding her motorcycle with friends, spending time with her family, and later, watching her granddaughter on workdays. Robbi was always the first to sign up for a family vacation and never hesitated to make memories with the people she loved. She made sure to always take care of those around her and truly lived life to the fullest. Robbi will forever be greatly missed by those who were fortunate enough to know her, love her, and be loved by her.
A celebration of life will be held at 11am on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Kingsland Baptist Church, 8801 Perrymont Road, Richmond VA 23237. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Kidney Cancer Association or N.E.S.T. of Nags Head, NC.
