Obituary
Ms. Donna Larae Garrett entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Chippenham Hospital in Richmond, Virginia.
Donna L. Garrett was born to the late Charles H. and Joan Elaine Garrett on November 30, 1980. She was educated in the Prince George County School System. Donna was employed by Personal Touch Health Care as a PCA until her health declined.
Donna was a fun and loving young lady. She truly loved her family and anyone that showed her kindness, her friendship had no limits. She enjoyed binge watching her favorite reality tv shows, talking on the phone and coloring biblical pictures.
Donna leaves to cherish her memories, three aunts, Susie G. Thomas, Rosa C. Garrett, both of Waverly, Virginia, and Janette Harrison of Virginia; three uncles, Larry D. Garrett (Tealena) of Waverly, Virginia, Linwood Harrison, and Joseph Harrison (Vanessa) both of Petersburg, Virginia; four great aunts, Otelia Wright of Prince George, Virginia, Mamie Turner and Haddie Parham, both of Waverly Virginia and Mabel Mason of Richmond, Virginia; many loving cousins, Lisa M. Butler (Daniel) and Lucinda Pegram (James), both of Prince George, Virginia, Catina D. Garrett, Latoya L. Williams (Marcellus) of Waverly, Virginia, Kim Hailes and Eric L. Garrett of Petersburg, Virginia; a very dear cousin more like a sister, Kaniesha Green of Tennessee; a host of other family and friends.
Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at J. L. Dodson and Sons Funeral Establishment, 25824 Greensville Avenue, Petersburg, Virginia. Rev. Carlos Garrett, officiating.
Interment will follow in the Little Mount Baptist Church, 8012 Jerusalem Park Road, Disputanta, Virginia.
A public viewing will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at J. L. Dodson and Sons Funeral Establishment-Petersburg.
The family is asked to assemble at 12:45 p.m. at J. L. Dodson and Sons Funeral Establishment on the day of the service.
