Ms. Fannie Virginia Pritchett, of 128 S. Sycamore St., Apt. 301, Petersburg, Va., passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012, at Southside Regional Medical Center, Petersburg, Va. She was born April 7, 1944, to the late Lawerence and Frances Ripley of Sussex, Va. She was educated in the Sussex County school system and was employed by the Crater Agency, Petersburg, Va.

Fannie attended Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Petersburg, Va.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Ripley of Waverly, Va.

She is survived by one brother, Willie Ripley (Sandra) of Maryland; four sisters, Isabelle Dennis (Joseph) of Prince George, Va., Nellie Randall (Oscar) of Petersburg, Va., Vizel Turner (James) of Wakefield, Va., and Angelica Woodhouse of Hopewell, Va.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

The family would like to thank the host of friends who showed so much love and concern for the family during the illness and the passing of their loved one.

At the family's request they will not be receiving guest following the service.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 575 Old Wagner Road, Petersburg, Va. Brother Joseph Macklin will be officiating.
