Mr. Vincent G. Tate of Richmond, Va. entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 17, 2016 at Southside Regional Medical Center Petersburg Virginia.

Vincent was born on December 16, 1949 in Petersburg Virginia to the late Arthur F. Tate, Jr. and Emma Bell Nunnally Tate.

After graduating from High School, he joined the United States Air Force.

Vincent was preceded in death by his parents and brothers.

He leaves to cherish his memory, one brother, Charles Tate, Sr. of Baltimore Maryland; devoted niece, Shavon Tate; devoted great niece, Adrienne Cooper; nephews, Charles Tate, Jr. and Michael Smith; cousins, Merle Mitchell, Haley, Meosha, Marcel, Roman and Remond; friend, Beatrice Bennett and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services for Mr. Vincent G. Tate will be conducted on Friday, June 24, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery , 3101 Nine Mile Road Richmond, Va. Bishop Tyrone R. Harper, Sr. officiating

Public viewing will be on Thursday, June 23, 2016, 6pm to 8pm at the funeral home.

The family is asking that relatives and friends assemble at Oakwood Cemetery 3101 Nine Mile Road, Richmond, Va. on the day of the service at 2:15p.m.
