Helen Dail Thornton-Anderson, 63, of Richmond, VA passed away on Saturday, November 02, 2019. Born in Hopewell, VA she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Audrey Dail. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nathan Thornton, Sr. and her son Dwayne Thornton, Sr. Helen retired from MCV where she was a registered nurse.

She is survived by a brother Ray Dail and a sister Donna Foster; her two children, Nathan Thornton, Jr. and Audrey Evitts and husband, Charlie; seven grandchildren, Dwayne Thornton Jr., Erica Thornton, Logan Evitts, Ashly Thornton, Kaydence Thornton, Huntley Thornton and Payten Thornton; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was a loving sister, mother and a proud grandmother.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Redemption Church, 101 W Hundred Rd, Chester, VA 23836. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a memorial fund at Visit Helen Dail Thornton-Anderson's Memorial Website
