Bryan Cameron Hughes, Jr. was born on December 31, 2013 to Bryan Cameron Hughes, Sr. and Mychae Delores Goode. At the tender age of 5 years old, he was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at the MCV Hospital in Richmond, VA. Bryan attended Blackwell Elementary School in Richmond. He was very independent and a problem solver, he also enjoyed being a big brother to his siblings. Bryan was a comedian with a beautiful smile and a joyful spirit that was contagious and affected everyone that encountered him.

Bryan, lovingly known as “Ruju” or “Doodles”, leaves to cherish his memory, his father Bryan Hughes, Sr., his mother Mychae Goode, grandparents, Connie Henderson Perry (Tim), Calvin Anthony Hughes (Gloria), Beverly Cummings (Mark), and Michael Goode, two brothers Bryce Hughes and Legend Goode, two uncles, Brandon Hughes and Mario Smith, three aunts Brooklin Hughes, Aiesha Eppes (Damon) and Imari Goode, eight first cousins Jayla, Jalia, Brandon,  Jamaia, Cameron, Makye, Aiden, Kaysin and a host of other cousins, family and friends - devoted friends, Brianna Young, Brayden, Breyon, Breaysiah and Brelynn and a best friend Cordell.

  Remains can be viewed on Thursday, March 28, 2019 from 2pm to 8pm. at Wilson and Associates Funeral Service, Inc. 1215 Jefferson Davis Hwy., Richmond, VA. 

Celebration of life  services for Master Bryan C. Hughes, Jr. will be held on Friday, March 29, 2019 at 11:00 am at Chicago Avenue Baptist Church, 2331 Broad Rock Blvd., Richmond, Va. Dr. Jonney S. Massenburg – Johnson, Eulogist, First Bethel Baptist Church, Henrico, Va., Pastor Tyrone Smack, Officiant, Faith and Family Church, Richmond,Va. Interment to follow at the Maury & Mt. Olivet Cemetery 2700 Maury St. Richmond, Va.
