Arthur Linwood Grammer, affectionately known as Bubba, age 58, of Petersburg, Virginia, departed this life surrounded by family on February 9, 2025, at Bon Secours Medical Center in Petersburg.

Arthur was born and raised in Petersburg, Virginia, where he remained a lifelong resident of the Battersea Neighborhood. He received his education in the Petersburg Public School System. After completing his studies, he answered the call to serve his country by joining the United States Marine Corps, where he proudly achieved the rank of Lance Corporal. His dedication and commitment to service were recognized through his recruitment efforts during his time in the Marine Corps.

After his honorable discharge, Arthur began a successful civilian career in the chemical field. He started at Honeywell in Hopewell, where he worked for over a decade. His career continued at Chemtrade, Oakley, and most recently, at Polyon Manufacturing as a Safety Manager. His passion for his work even took him abroad to Saudi Arabia, allowing him to share his expertise in his field.

Bubba was also an avid motorcycle rider; he could often be found riding his bike or upgrading it. A true biker at heart, he braved all weather conditions to hit the open road. His love for motorcycles led him to attend Sturgis, one of the largest motorcycle gatherings in the United States, a memorable trip he cherished with his daughter, Tiffany. Bubba was a proud member of numerous biker clubs, where he formed friendships and created lasting memories.

Arthur lived life to the fullest, and even in his darkest hours, he exhibited unwavering strength and resilience—a true Marine to the very end.
