Obituary
On Tuesday, November 29, 2022, Clarence Lee Holloway, affectionately known as, Lil Cee, of Petersburg Virginia, was called home suddenly.
He was born on October 14, 1983, to Clarence and Candy Williams, who survives.
Clarence attended school In Dinwiddie, Virginia. From childhood to his passing, he loved to dress from his hats down to his shoes. He was a dancing machine and an awesome karate student. He loved cars, fishing and played football, his favorite team was The Commanders, formerly known as the Redskins.
He worked several jobs, Hill Phonics, Furuuchi, and helped with different odd jobs
With his Dad, Big “C” and Lil Cee, working together, he was a great and loving dad to his kids and loved spending all lot of time with them.
Clarence was proceeded in death by his maternal grandparents, Betty Cole and Sammy Holloway and paternal grandparents, Rufus and Thelma Williams; one aunt, Auntie Walkina Griffin.
Clarence is survived by his loving parents, Clarence (Pat Bonus Mom) Williams and Candy Williams (James); Papa James Coles; children, Malik Wells, C’Ajiah Holloway, Clarence Lee Holloway, Jr., Avony Holloway, Daiyauna Dean Hollowayand Legacee Holloway; a brother who loved him dearly, Jacoby Williams (Alexis) and Kids: Janasjia Vassor, T’oni Walker, T’ari Walker, Ja’Niyah, Fitzgerald and Christian Williams; Sisters, Sonya Mays Jackson, Tanya Williams, Jamila Gulley (Richard), Taquita Williamson (Desi) and Taniel Daniel; uncle, Rev. Dr. Ronnie Martin (Evangelist Tammie), Rev. Kelly Martin (Niaretta), Deacon Dwight Hudgens (Mary); Aunts, Estelle Williams, Jackie Miller (Deacon James), loving devoted auntie, Tammy Holloway (second mom) who helped raise him and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, devoted cousins, Joesph Griffin and Donte Williams, and a host other relatives and friends.
Celebration of life service Mr. Clarence L. Holloway will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at the J. L. Dodson and Sons Funeral Establishment, 25824 Greenville Avenue, Petersburg, Virginia, Rev. Dr. Ronnie Martin, Officiating, Eulogist.
A public viewing will be held on Friday, December 9, 2022, from 11am – 7pm at the J. L. Dodson and Sons Funeral Establishment, 25824 Greenville Avenue, Petersburg, Virginia.
The family is asked to assemble at 12:45 p.m. at the funeral home on the day of the service.
