Obituary
Patricia Arlene Langford, age 77, passed away on January 8, 2026. Born on July 20, 1948, in Martinsville, VA, she was the daughter of the late Lee Alford, Sr. and Nellie Mae Alford.
Patricia was a devoted wife, sister, mother, nanny, and friend to all. She was a faithful member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in South Chesterfield and an active member of the Matoaca community.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Burley Langford, Sr., and her brother, Everett Lee Alford, Jr.
She is survived by her children: Teresa Ligon (Terry), Burley Langford, Jr., Michael Shane Langford (Tammy), and Chris Langford (Kristi); her grandchildren: Burley Langford III (Chelsea), Brian Langford (Olivia), Alex Langford, Brandon Ligon, Joanna Langford, Gideon Langford, and Zachary Langford; and her great-grandchildren: Emma Langford, Hunter Langford, Amelia Langford, and Adeline Langford. She is also survived by many special nieces, nephews, beloved family members, and friends.
Patricia will be remembered for her love of flowers and birds, and for the joy she found in the simple beauty of nature.
