Samantha Lorraine Motley, 35, of 210 Kemper Road, Danville, Va. (originally of Savannah, GA), went to be home with her Lord and Savior on August 02, 2021, at

INOVA Alexandria Hospital, Alexandria, Virginia. She was a homemaker and wife.

Samantha’s survivors include her husband, Mr. Erik T. Motley; children, Sean T. Motley and Erika N. Motley; parents, Teri and David Hairston of Danville, VA and Robert G. Graff Jr. of Bloomingdale, GA; brothers, Robert G. Graff III of Danville, VA, Robert Dylan Graff of Savannah, GA, and Joshua Jennings of Atlanta, GA; five aunts, Geri Wallace of Honea Path,SC, Sherri Turner of Rincon,GA, Merrie Chinchilla of Athens,GA, Darlene Sullivan of North Augusta,SC and Julie Pugh of Bloomingdale,GA; one uncle, Michael Graff of Savannah,GA; maternal grandmother, Emma Lou Chastain Woods of Athens,GA; paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Marie Parks of Savannah,GA; and numerous cousins, other family members and friends.

Viewing for Mrs. Samantha L. Motley will be on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 from 5pm to 8pm at the J.L.Dodson and Sons Funeral Establishment – Danville, VA.

Celebration of life service for Mrs. Motley will be held at 1:00p.m. on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at  the J.L. Dodson and Sons Funeral Establishment – Danville, VA with Pastor Kernodle, Officiating.

Family and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home on the day of the service at 12:45p.m.
