Obituary
Ms. Katrice Massey of Danville, Virginia entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at her residence.
Katrice was known as a helper. She loved some good music and was always dancing. She had a great love for animals. She left behind Tiffany and many others. Katrice was a very family oriented person. She always laughed and made some silly faces. Katrice was very joyful.
Katrice leaves to cherish memories of her, two sons, Antonio Massey and Kamall Z. Massey; one daughter, Daisa Massey; two sisters, Frances Lindsey (Andre), and Theresa McLeod (Mike); three brothers, William Hill (Diane), Leon Massey and Timothy Shedrick (Diane); step siblings, Tammy Kohn, Erica Chance, Brent Chance, Tierra Chance and Lillian Chance; thirty-two nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and great-great niece. Katrice left behind a host of family and friends that loved her dearly including her dear cousin Tyrce Davis. Tyrce loved her and pushed her to go after everything that was attached to her name and to never give up. She will truly be missed.
Celebration of Life service for Ms. Katrice Massey will be held on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at 3:00 P.M. at the J. L. Dodson and Sons Funeral Establishment- Danville Virginia with Bishop David K. Fuller, Pastor, Officiating.
A public viewing for Ms. Massey will be on Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at the J.L. Dodson and Sons Funeral Establishment – Danville.
